Sallie Gordon
Sallie is the founder of Accelerate Soccer. She resides in Apopka with her husband, Adam, and their 4 children: Susie, Scott, Sadie, and Selene.
Sallie earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary & Middle School Education at St. Norbert College (De Pere, Wl) in 2011, where she also played 3 years of college soccer as a center/left midfielder.
After college, Sallie became an elementary school teacher. She has 14+ years of experience in teaching, coaching, and recreation for children ages 2-12. Sallie has taught in several states and even China!
Sallie’s background in teaching and lifetime’s worth of soccer experience has led her to become a passionate coach for players of all ages.
Sallie’s dream for Accelerate Soccer is for soccer to be accessible year-round for as many children possible. Soccer has always been a source of security, therapy, friendship and love for Sallie. She knows the positive impact of having soccer as an outlet, and realizes how soccer has supported her in becoming the person she is today. She can’t wait to share her passions & witness the joy soccer brings to others as well.
Adam Gordon
Adam Gordon is the cofounder and backbone behind Accelerate Soccer. Adam resides in Apopka with Sallie and their four children.
Adam earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality and Management & Business from Purdue University (Lafayette, IN) in 2011. He brings years of hospitality, construction, and facility management knowledge to our team.
Adam enjoys playing soccer for fun and watching others play the sport. As an Operations Manager at Accelerate Soccer, he emphasizes teamwork, positivity, and inclusivity. He works hard to ensure those around him have the best experience possible playing the game they love. Because of him, our operations run smoothly!
